I don't know if this is a thing, but I've come with the idea of having a thread in which Metal musicians can give advices to other Metal musicians, let it be about compositions, recording methods, artworks, logos, string gauges, amps, pedals, picks, whatever, anything goes.
If the moderators thing this doesn't fit in the forum please feel free to delete the thread.

In all seriousness, the section for discussing musician stuff would be And the Bands Played On. There, you can whore out your gear, get advice on theory, experiment with different recording techniques, and so on. Feel free to bump old threads, as long as the posts have a bit of substance. It used to have more activity a few years ago, so I could understand not being sure where to discuss that kind of stuff.
